Essential Functions:


Perform standard equipment repairs and maintenance under the guidance of senior staff.
Assist Manufacturing staff in monitoring operating equipment on a daily basis, troubleshooting problems and inefficiencies and recommending possible solutions.
Order, re-stock and maintain the inventory of spare parts, consumables and change tooling supplies. Maintain other department equipment as needed.
Assist in maintaining required departmental records and documentation according to Company SOPs and the requirements of external parties. Assist in documenting daily facilities and manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Nature and Scope:


This position generally interacts with equivalent levels of internal customers and external vendors. That interaction requires good communication, customer service, and ability to identify problems. Effectiveness in this role also requires general knowledge of the assigned sites facilities and equipment and the relevant technical training required to maintain them. The incumbent works on problems that are routine in nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Exercises judgment within clearly defined procedures. The incumbent must be able to act independently to assess, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Typical equipment the incumbent must be able to work on includes; industrial mills, blenders, lifts, clean in place systems, automatic fillers, autoclaves, printers, labelers, case packers and various automation devices.
Education:


Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:


Requires at least 4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good communications, customer service and mechanical/electrical skills. Knowledge of Allen-Bradley Controls preferred.


Working Conditions:


Works in a lab, manufacturing, and/or warehouse environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 40 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Occasional periods of high noise level, which requires hearing protection, may exist. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional local travel may be required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
