Job Description
Key Objectives of the role:
Managing, designing, developing, coordinating and/or conducting supervisory, management or skills training courses for internal staff, may include technical training
Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content courses and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session to determine applicability of course material
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Make other trainers' schedules
Build quarterly and annual training program
Minimum Qualifications (must have):
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills
BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
3-5 years of experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role
3-5 years of experience with designing training programs and workshops
Experience with learning management software
Proficiency in MS Office and database software
Excellent time management, communication, decision making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal and communications skills.
Able to set clear priorities, demonstrate basic problem solving ability and strong follow-through skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
