Summary
The Sealed Air Engineering team is looking for a dynmaic Production Engineer who will partner with our Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers to prepare detail drawings (using Solidworks 3D CAD) and documentation packages with (BOM) bill of materials to facilitate outsourced contract manufacturing. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Access, etc). Electrical documentation experience a plus (Solidworks Electrical, ePlan).
Responsibilities
Work with engineers to gather mechanical & electrical designs outsourced manufacturing
Prepare detail drawings and complete documentation packages
Coordinate new orders with production engineering/technical team (order sign-off)
Work with vendors to clarify details for component level and manufacturing questions
Participate with floor assembly personnel to answer questions/assembly detail
Assist with customer and vendor requests for access to technical drawings (CAD)
Participate in materials/mfg planning and vendor meetings for lead-time and delivery dates
Support manufacturing department with system development, fabrication and troubleshooting
Qualifications
AAS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Technology
Must have Solidworks CAD and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing experience

years of Electrical design layout
Knowledge of 2D CAD design (AutoCAD, Microstation)
Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate and multi-task
